Hope Shine Uganda

Between His Shoulders proudly partners with Hope Shine Uganda, a Christian ministry serving vulnerable women, children, and pregnant teenage mothers in Uganda’s urban slum communities.

Founded by Joseph Arineitwe in 2012, Hope Shine was born from a calling to help young mothers facing rejection, poverty, abuse, and exploitation. 

Today, the ministry provides practical care and Christ-centered support through:

Birthing kits for pregnant mothers
A full-time transition house for vulnerable teenage moms
Vocational training in sewing and hair care
Discipleship, counseling, and community support

Between His Shoulders helps fund Hope Shine’s ministry, sends mission teams to serve, and supports the work on the ground in Uganda.
